Bob Geha is probably one of the longest running Anchors in Wyoming TV History. Whether you are from Casper or Cheyenne, Bob was a familiar face on the 10 O’clock news! Bob got a degree in business admin and economics from Ferris State University. Worked for a stock brokerage firm, before moving to San Diego where he co-owned Bobby G’s restaurant. After selling in 1987, he attended San Diego State Univ. and earned a second major in broadcast journalism. While he didn’t start his career as an Anchor, he paid his dues doing field assignments. In 1989, K2 hired Bob as a general assignment reporter. In 1990 he did morning cut-ins on TV and radio. In 1992 he moved to the weekend anchor and producer for K2. In the summer of 1995, he moved to DC and did some freelance work for CNN. He moved back to Wyoming in 1996 to work at the Cheyenne K2 branch. Soon after, he was hired by KGWN TV to co-anchor the news with Laurie Farkas. They made a great team for many years on the 10 O’clock news. With Bob’s vast knowledge of the stock market, he did the daily stock market report, did live interviews on set with Congressman, Mayors, the Governor and other important people in the community. During the legislative session, he reported live from the Capitol on all the important issues facing Wyoming. Bob was an award-winning producer and a mentor to all the “newbies” at the station. In 2015 after a wonderful career in broadcasting, Bob decided to retire and enjoy his life with his wife in Cheyenne.
